What to do if you are determined not to be medically eligible for a Medicaid funded nursing home, the MIChoice program, or the PACE program:

Since November 1, 2004, the state has required all applicants for Medicaid funded nursing home care, the PACE program, or the MiChoice program of home and community based care to be screened to ensure they are medically eligible for these programs. Some applicants will be informed they are not medically eligible. There are several appeal processes that applicants in this situation can pursue.
